In the University Specialization Course in Emotional Coping in Grief, a complete review of the phases and different types of grief is carried out through a practical and integrative approach from a psychotherapeutic point of view.

Objectives of this University Course
To introduce the techniques of application to special situations such as Pandemic Grief Covid-19.
To introduce the techniques of application to special situations such as Paandemia Covid-19 Grief.
To provide key tools to be able to develop interventions with people who are going through grief processes.
Addressing bereavement in elderly and ambiguous situations due to disappearances
Addressing bereavement in elderly and ambiguous situations due to disappearances
Addressing aspects of couple grief and mediation in the breakup of affective relationships, especially with parents and in communication with children.
To know the special characteristics of children’s grief, their evolutionary differences, the rhythms of grief in children and how to deal with death with them.
Participation in an intervention workshop model, both individual and group.
Methodology applied to this University Course
The evaluation process and the methodology applied to this University Specialization Course in Emotional Coping in Bereavement present a 100% ONLINE format.
The student will have access to the Virtual Campus of the UEMC, where he/she will have at his/her disposal:
- Contents and study materials in audiovisual format and articles.
- Videoconferences live “Master Class” of each of the modules. Students will be able to access it in Streaming or whenever they want since it will be recorded.
- Forums for participation and consultation.
Evaluation activities.
Each module will be opened on the dates specified in the chronogram and it is recommended that students carry out the activities and participate in the forums at the scheduled times (three weeks per module), although this is not mandatory and the activities will always be available until the end of the course.

Lafourcade-Ponce Award 2012 for his work with families in bereavement processes. Author and tutor of the TEA bereavement and suicide courses. Professor of the official colleges of psychologists of Madrid, Castilla y León, Cantabria, Castilla-La Mancha and Balearic Islands.
